Paint is dry when it rolls out of the booth. Did you paint it with a roller or what?
It may be dry but that doesn't mean it is fully cured.

Wipe some body shop dust off of a 2 day old paint job with your finger and see what happens.

Sorry but I don't touch a 40 year old paint job with my finger. I was brought up to respect paint and worked in a body shop. That will be the first car lesson I ever give my kids: Don't ever (and this might be the first time they hear the word "fucking") touch paint, especially someone else's car.
            :hitler:
When they learn how to polish, they can touch their own cars if they want, as long as they haven't been recently painted. But NEVER, someone else's paint.

Sac: Thanks for the progress pics. Mechanic/Painter, whatever... Maybe he meant it wasn't dry enough for him to feel comfortable putting it back together with moldings, lights, etc, and wants it to cure for a few days. Of course, maybe he doesn't bake his paint. Regardless, we can all see it's being worked on!

Well I stand corrected. I think you might have picked the one color that I think would flow with the wheels you have now.

I own an Evo so I'm familiar with the color. Should look pretty good, can't wait to see the result.

I love the overspray on the trunk lock, it literally comes out with 2 10mm bolts.

Looking forward to the outcome, lol.

From the lack of detail I have seen already I think we are looking at a 20' paint job here. Hopefully I am wrong for the OP sake.
