This thread sucks! I wouldve thought the car be finished by now.

lol. Honestly the OP is being optimistic. If it was finished Tuesday, the guy has to build it up and probably polish a couple of spots, etc. If it is a production shop and he is doing this on the side, expect delays. I had two cars painted by friends and it took two weeks longer than expected, in both cases. Granted, most of that time was just getting it into the booth, but still, it definitely took an extra day after being done.
