what all do I need to mount plastic bumper?

I'm in the process of doing the plastic bumper conversion and have a cover to buy but not all the inside stuff. What all do I need to mount it. the shocks, mounting brackets, and what else?

this is going onto an '88 with updated valence.

    thanks!

I've never done it, but on an 88 they should bolt right up. No customization needed.

He should need the rebar and possibly the turn signal housing as well right?

Does he need the shocks? I thought the '88s used the same ones, since the bumpers are tucked way in.

I am almsot positive even though the 88 did have different shocks than the 84-87 cars they still will not work with a plastic bumper

what if I have a tucked front bumper? I don't know if that would make a difference. how necessary is the rebar thing? could I get away without it? what does it do? just support for an accident?

They look kind of llike Borbet A's, but they look like they are either 3-piece or have fake bolts. Replica's of the Borbet's maybe? Either way, they are HOT.

yeah, I still have them but they're on my car right now. I'll have them off as soon as I get everything together to put my plastic bumpers on and I get everything here. :D

I'd probably be willing to sell them once I get my plastics though. :D

The rebar is the structure of the bumper, the plastic itself is just the skin. There is nothing to support or mount the bumper to without the rebar.
