Sources for fenders/doors etc??

My junkyard is lame. Only 1 E30 w junk body. I need a front right fender.

What brand aftermarket body panels have you bought?
Did they fit?
Cost?
Quality?
Where did you get them?
any other commemts??

don't buy aftermarket BMW panels, unless you want to spend a lot of time making them fit correctly. Usually when it comes to body work, getting something that fits properly is cheaper than putting lipstick on a pig.

new E30 fenders aren't that expensive, either. I don't know about doors but you can definitely get them pretty cheap, used, if you look long enough. Good used E30 fenders are equally as cheap. I paid $50 for a hood and 2 fenders 4 years ago..

check your local craigslist for parts, it really is the best resource for these things...
A mint hood will run you 200 at the maximum, 100 on average and fenders are usually $50 each if you end up having to go to a junkyard for them (they overcharge often).

So oem or nothin kinda? No non BMW parts that are decent? Hmm. I been searching clist. I'll keep on it.
