i will post pics when I need to remove it.

I have to remove it anyway to paint it, its still black and I have paint for it.

on each corner its fastened in with long bolts and washers. Thats the good news thats how its suppose to go there.

but on the top instead of being glues, its actually screwed in 6 places from the top into it. Im sure thats not how its supposed to go.

unless..... the screws were to back up the glue.

What are you talking about? Factory has brackets that the bumper slides into just behind the sidemarkers. Underneath the turn signals are large torx bolts that secure the bumper. The air dam is held on by clips that come off of the valence at the top, two bolts at the sides and little clips with plastic rivets on the bottom. The factory unit has no glue anywhere. All of the parts where it connects to clips and things are part of the molded abs plastic.

The fact that it is all one piece is probably the worst part of the design. I am waiting on the body shop to order me a new valance and air dam as I ran over a damn tire getting off of the freeway Wednesday night. I was so pissed. I swerved and dodged the first one only to run right over the second one. There were five more right in front of me. The air dam brackets did their job, they broke to spare the valance. Too bad the tire ended up bending that and my oil cooler. I will let insurance cover all of that. Good thing for accident forgiveness.

The point is that if I had Ary's kit, the whole front end would be destroyed. The factory unit is designed to take a beating and flex instead of breaking. Mine has flexed many times and finally began to crack by the fogs and the driver side bolt attachment broke. Othe than that is is still in pretty good condition.
