So I have seen a lot of videos, and read a lot of positive reviews about the "$50 Roll on paint jobs."
I am really wanting to try this with my car. Possibly just my hood before bimmerfest, and then my entire car after (Red '89 325, doing just a black hood for now. I will eventually go back to all red)
Now most people use Rustoleum in their paint jobs and thin it with Mineral Spirits. I was wondering if it was possible to do this with a non oil based paint? Or is oil based/acrylic paint the only way to do this. I know I'd get the same finish My car came with (Oil based/Acrylic that is) But was curious if other paints were a possibility.
Also, would I roll on a clear coat as well? Or just do a few thick layers of the base, and wetsand/polish that in the end?
