    how do i remove the from bumper off a 1990 325i

    im stuck opn this guys i know its stop-id but im frustrated and need help on getting it off

    Yup, Vivek is correct. Two honkin' big torx bolts. T55 driver should do the trick, if I remember right. Then the bumper slides forward, and when you can get a hand in between the bumper and the airdam, unplug the turn signals. And if you have US trim, remove the side running lights before you start.

      i second that. however my car uses 10mm hex head bolts. might be a jap/ euro thing? its a jap import but euro spec. its weird

        makes it a lot easier to also have someone help you pull it on either side to remove and the same goes for installing it back on

          i find its fine coming off. but yes a 2nd person to help it go on straight helps at times.

            what they said, but I had troubles pulling mine out after unbolting. So I wrapped a rag around the tooth part of a hammer, fit it in the hole and gave it a good yank. Remember, just what everyone said, that bumper's been on there for 20+ years. it's not gonna want to move.

              easiest way to remove the bumper instead of yanking/sliding it off after taking the big torx bolt is to remove the bolts for the brackets from the inside of the fender. It's a no. 8 bolt.

              to install, just blue tape one side to the fender while you bolt it back on.
