I heard that if you buy parts from Rockauto and by any chance they are defective, you can`t get a refund. Is this true?

A oe/oem fender is ~$300. It's worth keeping in mind that you could easily spend near that on labor getting poor replacement to fit. The same for a less than perfectly square used fender.

Not sure if it's different for body parts, but I've returned defective parts to Rock Auto with no issues.

I am in the same boat right now, trying to find a drivers side fender. took forever to find a driver side door.

i buy a lot of parts from rockauto, and usually can find some OEM manufacturers. in terms of body items, i bought a bumper cover for my sienna and had it painted, fitted it myself, and its pretty much perfect. but, i am hesitant to get a aftermarket fender for my e30 from them.
