    Sherman Fenders?

Found replacment METAL fenders on Andy's auto for 63 bucks, made by a company called sherman.
Has anyone heard of them or have any experience with their products?

I used a Sherman rear wheel arch from rockauto.com, the fitment was 100% spot on, just as good as the factory BMW quarter panel and front wheel housings I've purchased in the past. It was $13, plus $8 shipping, I still can't believe it!

That was a weld in piece, though. Fenders are a bit of a different story, as it's a bolt on part with lots of critical gaps and dimensions. For that price, it's worth a shot though. I purchased a total of 6 used fenders when rebuilding and repainting my car, and none of them ended up being straight enough for me. Had to do a bunch of bondo work to them to get all of the tiny waves out.

I was expecting to see an e30 with a WWII tank mod.

Was the wheel arch for diving boards or plastic fenders? The item description I found says it spans 83-91, which can't be true since they are different shapes depending if it's pre 88 or not.

For the front fenders I thought that they were the same through out the years(exception being the verts and m3's)
I am glad to hear that the rear was decent, because chances are if the rears are not bad quality that the fronts would be the same.

It was for early models. If you click on the actual part number (CCC0054582), it says 84-85. They only have the passenger rear for early models, no drivers side or late model arches. Just so happens that's what I needed.

Well, the rears are just a weld-in arch, the front fenders could be a different story. There are all kinds of gaps and dimensions that have to be pretty exact on those, in order to line up with the hood, valance, door, etc... Not saying they won't be good, but I've seen some pretty bad aftermarket fenders.
