    rear decklid/spoiler

Hello all, i have been thinking about purchasing a rear decklid/spoiler for my trunk. i have an 87 325 and have seen the 325is with them. They look great. My question is, How do i mount it to the trunk. Do i have to put holes in the trunk? any info. would help. thanks.

It attaches via 6 bolts/nuts. The dealer sells a template for it I believe. I drilled mine myself but I made a template off a iS trunklid I had laying around.

I eyeballed it and it came out 'not perfect.' Make sure you take your time with the holes.

i made a template off of the spoiler, then placed it on the trunk using the roudel as the marker point for lining it up. then just drilled holes with my template, and voila.
