Cabrio Rocker Refinish

After I replace a fender, Id like to refinish the industrial grade black gravel guard on the rockers.

Is there a good aerosol to over spray whats there without stripping it ?

I also plan to remove the rocker molding and besides replacing the 10 clips whats the trick to removing the leading edge of the molding ?
