YES they are on the backside of the bumpers and it is true that all schwartz cars had D-schwartz bumpers on them

The tag is on the bumper support. You could technically switch out the bumper skin/cover on the support. That would allow you to retain your VIN stickers.

My 90 325i had diamond schwartz bumpers. VIN matched the car. I lol'd and repainted them.

The 318is's were only available in D-schwartz, Brilliantrot and sterlingsilver but he was speaking if the 318ic which to my knowledge was not available in D-schwartz but in schwartz with D-schwartz bumpers
