    awesome vert mod! must see!

    i was sick of the lid on my convertible not staying up and i ended up discovering that you can get seat pistons to fit with very little modification



    i ended up making a plastic spacer because the hole on the seat piston was a bit larger



    fit right on just was a bitch to push it all the way down to put it on the other stud



    and like magic that shit stays up!

    ive had the pistons on there for about a month with no problems, they are much stronger so they should last a long time

    Why not just use the correct pistons ? I just replaced mine and it stays up perfectly

          I replaced mine a year ago, and they are already failing to keep the cover up.
