kidney grills chrome or black you decide.

So i installed my smoked euro smiley's, and had another kidney grill kicking around, so i scuffed it and sprayed it black. Tried it out, I want to know what you think YAY or NAY?? should i run the black kidney grill or rock the original?

I'm a fan of the original. Doing everything black causes the grill to become more of a big hole on the front of the car for me.

Chrome. Black is for stance fags.

                Haters gunna hate...

The black looks good because on contrast. You've got smoked headlights and turn signals.

Its an 88 325i with es front valence on 91 plastic bumpers with ix flares and skirts, and rear mtec valence.

K so , I did a bit of work on the car today and had the entire front end off, I fixed the bumper skin where it was lifting under heat from the sun,.and wired in the smilies, and city lights, Also made a front lip ( a find on the ground at scrap yard ( it says toyota on the back) and installed a trunk lip sprayed flat black.( ebay), and bmw roundels on the wheel caps. it was a busy day. I still need to align the hood and height.

                  I ordered a HID kit for the H1 8000k.

Anyways heres some pics. Gimme your thoughts.

The front spoiler/lip came out well, although I think an iS lip in the rear would look a bit better. Are you worried about airflow to the oil cooler with the eS valance? I know the loads are smaller than a race car or something, I just don't know how big a deal that is to have it blocked. Those wheels look awesome, too.

                          thanks guys,

the oil cooler is remounted and mirrors the es valence inlets. No problems with cooling at all.

If i can find an IS trunk lip, or even an E34 Trunk lip, than i will change it, Its only on with double sided tape, so its easy to remove.

I love this front end .

I love everything you did on the front-end so far besides that lip. I can see how it balanced the brows out but on the other hand... It just seems too thick. A thin splitter would pull things together nicely.
