yeah i understand there is no sense in destroying an nice is lip.
i like the idea of an i lip, but you may be better off building the flared look with fiberglass or something, plus you could integrate a splitter :)

I had a ryan g splitter but only thing it did was rip off my last brand new oem lip... ill stay splitterless for now

No updates other that i laid the bondo on the other side but haven't sanded at all or taken pics sorry =\

has anyone ever seen a full aluminum front splitter to skid plate on an e30 before? ive tried searching but no help. im thinking of maching up one with this thin sheet aluminum roll i have and then redoing it BETTER with high grade aluminum sheet metal and fab up my own mounts. i just got to draw it out and get my measurements.

A little off topic but what color should i get my 14" weaves done in? i could possibly get the lips polished. Im open to other suggestions.

soon i will be, but i made it that way just because i never liked how the middle was split up into two parts, so i just decided to cut it out and make it a bigger opening, never was intended in my mind for an intercooler back then lol
