I would def keep the top black if the car is red but thats my opinion cuz it becomes too flashy.. Black cars and white cars really go well with the same color top cuz they throw off a coupe look since one is the darkest the other is the lightest so it doesnt reflect the detachable peice of the car. Again just my personal opinion from a view of a bodyman/painter for a living

my hard top is semi gloss black. i cant take the credit for re finishing it because i had to buy a car to get it for my red one but it was redone very well. and i really like the two tone look, but now im thinking about having it redone to match my car. just dont know if it would look as good due to my car being red?
