R3V what color should i paint my engine bay

Right now Im redoing my engine bay in prep of my big turbo/engine project. I want something temporary that looks good and is durable. I have cut off and ground down all unnecessary brackets and will be welding the holes they have created along with a few other ones to clean things up a bit. But i want to know what color i should go with JUST in the engine bay, the car is delphin.

If you're going through the hassle of shaving your bay paint it to match the rest of the car.

I was actually thinking of priming then using some sort of enamel then actually putting gold heat reflective tape in the entire bay but thought there is no way it could look good

going matte black for now, got some stuff thats supposed to be super resistant to everything. supposedly you can hit it with a hammer and it wont chip

Looks like it's going to be an awesome build. Best of luck, but I don't understand why anyone goes with anything that doesn't match the exterior. Depending on the color, it often gives the impression that you got a shitty respray on the outside, and the bay is the car's previous color.
