I'm not looking for a showroom fix, but I think it can be better than it is. I have no clue about paintwork or detailing, so that's why I'm asking. I've got so many other things going on with the car right now I just don't have time or money to get it painted. Just looking for ideas to make this area better for the time being.
It's definitely had a crappy paint job in the past which someone told me it was single stage and that's what is flaking off. If I wetsanded the area what grit would I start with and finish with? What's some good products to use after sanding? Underneath the layer that's coming off is still shiny, would it be possible to take off the top layer on the whole quarter panel?
