Should I sell my E30? Rusting Body

I bought an E30 a couple of months ago.

I just learned that the body has cracked around the struts and firewall and that it could cost me $1,200 to $2,000 to get that sorted with the body.

I paid around $5,000 for the car because it has big brakes, 5 lug swap, and an SR20DET. I am already about $700 deep with other repairs and registration.

Should I continue with the body repair or sell it?

The body work guys said it'd better if I sold it but I just need another opinion.

I made a thread of it a while back so here's the link to that thread.

Why not buy a shell with a blown up engine/trans and swap everything over?

I'd say just throw a little jelly on the rust spots, let it dry and you'll be good for a few months

I've heard of this happening but have never seen it. Where do the strut housings crack?

          Maybe learn to weld.

welding would be the easiest thing to do even if you cant lay beads just do a bunch of spot welds or buy a shell and swap everything and sell ur shell cheap
