    Anyone rock homemade mudflaps?

    Pretty self explanatory.

I hope someone chimes in. I have a set of rally armor mudflaps that I have yet to install, and I'm curious to see how others attach their non-oem mudflaps.

Pretty much why I posted this, I'm getting some thick rubber to make some flaps out of and didn't know where to start..

            DIY flaps

I just made a set for my IX, very happy with how they came out. I made templates using flexable poster board, then used a floor mat that I found at Lowes, made from recycled tires. I intend to post a step by step with pictures, but don' have time right now. If your interested, PM me and I'll email you the pics and give you more details re: mounting, size, etc.
