I talked to this dude who got his car done from him on sunday for like 1 hour about how he was so incredibly disappointed in the job, he had the car for 3 months paint wayyyyyyyy too much $ for what he got and the car look so damn bad, crazy orange peel, fish eye, paint reaction in the jambs, the owner of the car didn't want to deal with him anymore so he just took his car paid him and pretty much said good riddance, we are going to be re-doing his carComment

Hmmm sounds troubling. Would rather add Jesse's side before giving him a bad name on this place. Your approach is just as laughable.Comment

So I'm fucking crazy????? Dude price what all that labor and supplies cost?? But its ok it was worth every cent and why my M3 is worth 10 times what your E30 is. I've owned over 20 Bmw's half of them with custom paint over the past 16 years and am my BMW CCA chapter president, but I'm sure you know more and am fucking crazy.....Comment

I beg the the differ..there are guys out there that can do a "OE" style paint job or what ever you guys want to call it, for less then $4k. The problem is some of these shops get hyped up because they have and do good work..if no-one paid those ridiculous prices for paint jobs shops wouldn't charge so much..that's their way of justifying their ridiculous prices because someone else paid it already..$12k for a paint job? Is fucking insane if you ask me

At 12k I'd assume either heavy bodywork was needed, and/or many trim/exterior items were replaced at the same time.Comment

There was no body work needed. The entire car was stripped to a bare shell, all doors, fenders, hood , trunk , bumpers were removed. The entire car was taken to bare metal inc. the engine bay then was primed and blocked straight, then resprayed using glasurit paint and clear , then wet sanded and buffed and reassembled. Took around 6 months. But I retract my statement sounding childish and apologize.Last edited by 89AlpineM3; 10-17-2013, 09:50 AM.Comment
