I talked to this dude who got his car done from him on sunday for like 1 hour about how he was so incredibly disappointed in the job, he had the car for 3 months paint wayyyyyyyy too much $ for what he got and the car look so damn bad, crazy orange peel, fish eye, paint reaction in the jambs, the owner of the car didn't want to deal with him anymore so he just took his car paid him and pretty much said good riddance, we are going to be re-doing his car

Hmmm sounds troubling. Would rather add Jesse's side before giving him a bad name on this place. Your approach is just as laughable.

So I'm fucking crazy????? Dude price what all that labor and supplies cost?? But its ok it was worth every cent and why my M3 is worth 10 times what your E30 is. I've owned over 20 Bmw's half of them with custom paint over the past 16 years and am my BMW CCA chapter president, but I'm sure you know more and am fucking crazy.....

You sound more like a child than someone who should command the respect you feel you deserve, based on that post.

Is fucking insane if you ask me

Calm down, if you think $12k is justifiable then by all means..I'm not saying that you are crazy or questioning the amount of bmws you've owned or implying that my e30 is worth more then your m3 or that your not a bmw cca chapter president..but thanks for all the unnecessary info, its a cool story bro :-)...$12k for a paint job is FUCKING CRAZY either way you want to put it..act like the president that you claim you are..

At 12k I'd assume either heavy bodywork was needed, and/or many trim/exterior items were replaced at the same time.

There was no body work needed. The entire car was stripped to a bare shell, all doors, fenders, hood , trunk , bumpers were removed. The entire car was taken to bare metal inc. the engine bay then was primed and blocked straight, then resprayed using glasurit paint and clear , then wet sanded and buffed and reassembled. Took around 6 months. But I retract my statement sounding childish and apologize.
