An product that is added to paint to prevent cracking of the paint when applied to a semi-rigid object, like a foam or flexible hard rubber spoiler. It makes the paint so that it doesn't harden as much when it dries, so it has some give to it.

That makes sense. Where is the best place to pick this stuff up or is it just an additive for the paint itself?

I've used it on multiple items with no problems, painted my sideskirts, and trunk spoiler with it, they both held up perfectly.
