So i have inherited a stock IS spoiler which im gonna put on my project but its in sad shape, i just finished going at it pretty good with sand paper. Used 150 for the really rough spot, then 220 and 440 for finish, but there are some pits and divits on the surface of the spoiler over the years which have formed. My Sanding has only exposed them more.
Is it ok to bondo these spoilers? My friend was saying since spoiler is somewhat a rubber material or at least somewhat malleable, that bondo would crack or fall off if the spoiler flexed at all with install.
So i am wondering what some other options are and what other people have done.
