Strange window behavior... need help troubleshooting

1991 318 Chassis - rear windows don't work at all. That's one part of the problem. The front windows work just fine, unless I drive in a 'spirited manner' for a little while, in which case they stop working. They will not resume working until I stop the car, turn it off, and then start it again. Then they work just fine.

Weird. Any suggestions as to where to start?

    Thanks,

    Cade

bump - ok, I've seen the posts on window stuff - but this one is a little different because of the way it's doing it. Anyone?

Check all of your grounds. I had intermittent electric bugaboos (check panel working/not working, OBC working/not working), that would come and go as I drove around. Fixed with a new engine grounding strap.

Also, for sedans I think the front/rear windows each have their own fuse. Might make a quick run through your fuse box and make sure nothing's blown.
