    6 months, it's still as solid as it was when I attached it. I wash my car twice a week and spray the shit out of it with the pressure washer.

    But like people are saying, they are heaver than is spoilers.

    ...make a template and drill the holes. These spoilers are heavier than the OEM. Use either stainless or brass alloy hardware.

    My E39 had a small trunk lip which was taped but as you said, these MT1 spoilers are hefty...

    On later cars (e46 M3s for example), BMW attached spoilers with doublesided tape from the factory. Not sure if that's just lip spoilers, Mtech1s are pretty substantial

    Once that spoiler goes on, I'm sure you'll leave it on. Drill the holes, its not a big deal.

    MTech I spoiler install- Help

    Howdy,

    I am going to try to install my rear spoiler, only problem is, my trunk doesnt have the predrilled holes. So i need to make them. Anyone have instructions on how to go about this? Advice/rant/hate is all welcomed!
