    Fiberglass mould for fender

I want to make some fiberglass fenders as they would be cheaper than regular sheet metal ones. Just wondering if you guys would think thy spraying a layer of plastidip over the fender and then laying down the fiberglass mould would work or is there something I should put down to make removal of the mould easy. I was also thinking about just laying wax paper over the fender and then putting the fiberglass over top that, which would make it easy to remove.

Just doing it so I don't have to roll the fenders and get them all rusty and thinking about making a wide body up front and flairs in the back

Fr easy removal, use mold release paste as he stated above. Maybe look into a compressed air setup, using air fittings in your mold routed to a on off valve. You can suck the air out then pressurize to pop off.

That's just what I've seen in the marine industry...quick and consistent once set up properly. I have some molds in my shop set up like this, pm me if you want pics
