    Wheels or body first?

Some time over the summer I plan to paint my car. Right now it's white with black wheels, and I really don't like the black wheels. Should I wait to paint the body and see if black works well, or paint the wheels then decide what body color to pick based off what I think will look good with the new wheels?

Strip the wheels down, and paint em. It'll cost you maybe $10. Body work is obviously a bit more expensive.

don't switch body colors unless you're gonna do it right by painting the bay/door jams/trunk/etc.

as far as your original question, i would choose wheels based on the body. why would you change the color of the entire car just to match a set of easily swappable wheels? that's stupid.

Thanks guys! I'm planning on stripping off the paint on the wheels and the body, because I have no idea if the condition of the stock paint is like.

Completely stripping and repainting the body the proper way is a HUGE job. Total disassembly. Just thought I'd write it out.
