That will buff out. Seriously, that does not look too bad, However, I could easily see a body shop estimate of over $2,500 for the work.

Thanks Mark. This will be paid for by insurance. This happened back on Dec 26. last day before I put her away for winter (it was 10c, sunny and had yet to snow). Just been waiting for spring and some good weather. Have been thinking she's doomed for months

Will add to the bumper and bumper shocks are toast but thank god nothing broke except the black trim. And of course his car had zero damage.

          New fad....tucked plastic bumpers.

          Def looks repairable.

If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

Some of us who have been here a long time might not be driving the same car as when they signed up ;)

That's definitely fixable. Plus you can probably negotiate some discounted work from the body shop to clean up the rust on that rear battery tray area.

101 - that's what I was thinking to. might turn out that I come out ahead of this situation.

I would estimate the guy hit me at 20kmh and even at that low speed the hit went through my bones. couldn't imagine others how have had much worst. Crashes in older cars suck.

I've had the same car since 2003.

No wonder these are going up in price! You kiddies keep destroying them :p

I'm no kid either. and I was honestly very sad after the idiot did this to my car. This is the e30 I planned to keep till I die. it was in very good condition. Here in Ontario Canada the prices are going up like crazy. I lucked out with mine. Mint plaid interior, smoked Hella, motor swapped and other goodied .. now for the same price you get a stock rusted out piece.

Good to hear the bumper did it's job. I got rear ended driving my dad's e30 with diving boards. From the bump I thought there'd be some significant damage. There was a <1cm scratch on the lower part of the bumper from the lady's license plate screw, and her Honda's plastic bumper was shattered.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

How much are nice 325is' going for out there?

I'm from the prairies and left Sask in the mid 2000's. Back then they were pretty rare but not worth much more than 4-5g's in minty condition
