    Balancing fenders

So the fact that the rear fenders are lower than the fronts on my 91 318i really bugs me. What are my options as far as making them even?

That seems like the most cost effective option, but are there flares out there that don't look so race car-ish? Like flares that hide the rivets or something?

or trade your late model for a late model vert.
              tittiesssssssss

i'd just buy flares and have a shop smooth over the rivets. hidden rivets make flares a lot more subtle. should have that non race car look you want.

Late model vert would still have same low wheel arches as a late model coupe.

The best way I can think of to even it out is to get your suspension setup with the right rake haha.

Seriously though perhaps a staggered wheel setup with the right suspension setup and you would like the way the look of the low wheel arches balances out.

Unfortunately I do have a tiny bit of rake right now, due to thicker rear tires, and I don't like it lol. I like the car to sit straight. I think I'll look into having a shop smooth over the rivets of the flares. Any idea how much a shop would charge for that?

You may have to come to terms with your low late model wheel arches.

Have you looked into whether or not the late model riveted fender flares even raise the wheel arch at all? Or are they only meant to create more room width-wise? Because you may be thinking of a solution that actually just makes wider, but still low wheel arches.

To answer the original question I don't think there is any good option for "evening out" your wheel arches on your late model, you'd seriously be better off buying or trading for an early model and doing a late model bumper swap.

Yeah I'm not sure if the flares are evened out, it was just an assumption. Thanks for the input bro, I appreciate it.

Somebody in socal had the rear fenders cut off an early model to be grafted onto his late model car.
After the body work was complete, you wouldn't even be able to tell the work was done in the first place.
I legitimately thought he did a rear tail light swap when I first saw it.

That is an impressive amount of work! To think if you did that you'd still have to modify the rear bumper to fit after the fender grafting.
I feel like fender evening and a tail-light swap would be right on par with each other...
