I dropped my girl off nekid, in a strange neighborhood.

I know what you were thinking... But I'm referring to "Da Grey Goose"

I dropped my E30 off today for paint.. She should be back middle of next week with some fresh makeup on...

Then starts the real work.. Trying to find all the stuff to put her back together...

Well it is 85 model and had the famous diving board bumpers which I plan to tuck.. I am going to shadowline all the trim, may include the bumpers as all black I don't know yet..

The body will remain Delphin Metallic..

It's 5 speed and has an 87 model eta motor with I think 140K on it since the original motor was toasted.. I put a chip in it recently, man what a huge difference.. For the time being I will prob change the diff to a higher ratio and from there........

          Who knows ?

Right now I want to get it back together and have fun with it...

how was the 325 badge attached? weird you would have had to sand that area. Most are barely glued on.

Any intrest in a early model euro valance. Has larger center cutouts, also has in valace foglights and basicly looks alot better.

Im letting it go for a good price.

The badge was glued on normally... The PO had sprayed the car with some rattle cans... I had a lot of prep work to do believe me.. You see many hours of sanding...

Didn't know him before now, but... I shopped around my town and was dissapointed at the prices I got from the bigger shops.. This guy is a small shop less than a mile from my home.. Just happened to stop in and talk to him about it..

I pretty much had the car ready to spray, he said he would finish what little prep there was and do the paint for $750 to $800.. Depending mostly on the cost of the better paint..

He is going to prime it, block it, and do the base and several coats of clear.. He promised me it would look as good or better than off the showroom floor when it was new...

I'll llet ya know how that turns out...

If it wasn't so blasted hard to convert it I might try to.. But I am going to at least tuck the diving boards, and may unclude them in the shadowlining I'm doing on the rest of the chrome looking parts on her...

I'll stick some more pics up when I get it back home.. Which is at least the middle of next week..
