Ya Steve the Front bolts right on(You've seen my car), and the rear requires 2 holes drilled and that's it.

Where in East TN do you live? That's hella cheap for a good paint job. I'm interested to see what it looks like when it's done.

I hear though that it really doesn't help the shop guy that much by doing your own prep work. Actually they say that doing your OWN prep work is worse...

Yea, I'm a tad north of Chattanooga, I'm curious to see how this turns out as well.. The shop has been here for a good many years... Still just a mom & pop operation..

I think they are better than the big known companies most of the time tho.. They take more pride in what they are doing... Literally putting your name on your work makes a difference..

Oh Ya steve if you do the bumper shocks, do them a ways away from anything in good shape, and wear eye protection. I just did my rear shocks, and got drenched with oil, luckily I had goggles on but still had to shower off and I still reak of oil. Plus I had a bout a 4 foot high stream spewing from the one shock for a while, where as the other shock just made a hiss and bubbled out fluid.

Ya I still smell like oil, even after 2 showers. Oh well at least the rear end of the car looks better. Oh the front end will be back together tommorow as well.

I know you dont HAVE to tell insurance, but if you get into an accident and they find out that you drilled the bumper shocks, that could void your policy i believe...if somehow they had a mechanic do a once over on the car and see that they were drilled... could've changed the damage outcome to the cars involved in the accident

I thought that bumper specs are different now then they were on the early e30's?

                            Will it still be void?
