    Pin Stripe translation?

    I'm looking at replacing the pin-stripe does anyone know which is red and charcoal? I have an 87 lachsilber vert.

    Link no work, and I am gonna go out on a limb and say that was dealer installed after delivery.

          Replace the stripes, but don't go around the trunk. I've seen them both ways (dealer installed), and I believe the ones that wrap around the trunk are incorrectly applied. So there is an opinion you didn't ask for. I also have nothing productive to add to the thread. Sorry about that.

            I love this response @Ether.

            On my last e30 I didn't even replace the pinstripe. As of now I told the paint shop to hold off - I'll take a look when I get there and make a decision then.

            Now I'll ask for the opinion - redo the pin or no?
