Textured or smoothed?

I just waxed my car yesterday and the textured stuff is a royal pain in the ass. I vote smooth.

Smooth it is! The cons seem to far outweigh the pros. And with the ClearBra installed, I won't have to worry about chips and what not. Thanks guys.

Wouldn't I be able to just use some kind of stripper/thinner to take off the old paint and textured material? Isn't it just that rubberized undercoating stuff?

^^ Yeah!! what he said!! I guess I won't mind sitting there and sanding it down if I have to... but if there's a "smarter, not harder" solution, I'm all for it!!

I would still put on the rubberized texture, just a very thin coat. From the factory that crap is thick. You can do it thin and you dont notice it hardly.

If you are taking it off, use a heat gun and putty knife or the likes. Heating it up works similar to the trunk tar.
