Hey guys I'm planning on wrapping my e30 and am in the process of dissasembling everything.
My question is, how the hell do you removing these wiper arms??

You remove the plastic cover, remove the 13mm nut, then flip the wiper arm in to the up position (as if you were replacing a blade) to wiggle it off.
To do it right you need to mark the relative parked position of the arm/spindle with a marker/punch.
I do worry that if you need to ask how to do this you might not be very capable of owning an older car.Comment

they are often seized. Use a small puller from an auto parts store to safely pull them off.Comment

Plastic cover, nut, flip the arm up, tap with hammer, pull vertically off

make sure you leave the wiper blade on while removing the assembly. If you take the blade off and the arm snaps back to the windshield it may crack it. Learned this one the hard way.Originally posted by TENSE View PostComment

no concern for how he is going to be able to do the wrap, or remove the far more complicated stuff???

Nah, wrapping a car shouldn't hurt the functionality, but inability to remove simple stuff makes it difficult to own an E30.Comment
