Hi everyone.

What is the OEM paint pattern for 1989 318i alpine weiss coupe?

Is it white black white?..


Or white black white + black at the bottom:


Or could have been both depending on dealer options?

P.S. Another question: what is the best choice for black bumper paint? Originality is key factor here.

To my knowledge, always black on the bottom, like in your second pic. If there was a body kit, it would have been color matched.
As far as paint originality, can't really help, I used SEM Trim black with good results, couldn't tell you how close it is to original though.

You can always add OEM side skirts, like in my sig pic. The rear will remain black, but the side skirts flow a lot better, especially if you have a painted IS lip.
