Exterior Door Handle...so frustrated.

So my exterior door handle is opening crooked, scraping the paint above it....

I opened up the door and couldnt see how to remove/replace/adjust the handle.

Any insite? I've never been this frustrated with any of my e30's....I had to walk away.

Lift handle and you will see the two screws that hold it to the latch mechanism from the bottom.

Have you had the inside of the door completely off and looked inside?

looks like its undo #6 nuts.
