How to fix this bad paint job

    Hello,

I bought my car recently and it appears that the PO tried rather poorly to repaint some damage, my question is if you guys would suggest I sand it off and try to paint it myself or it get it done professionally. Is there a paint that would match my original alpine white? Heres a link to the sale posting:

    Thanks in advance!

Given the level of your questions I suggest saving your pennies and just paying someone. Colour matching and texture matching paint is damn near impossible to do as amateur. and it will never look the same as oem without years of practise.

If it's just the bottom of the fender and the mirrors you can certainly DIY as alpineweiss II is fairly easy to get a close match.

I personally ordered some color matched mixed spray off of ebay some years ago to do my mirrors and they came out decently. That said, clear coat is more of an issue as you're going to need it if you want the mirrors to last.

Remember, lots of preparation, and light coats of paint.
