    Show me those sterling silver beauties!!

    Seriously, i've been thinking about re-painting mine the same sterling silver. I want to see other e30s with that color.. anybody?!?

    it's a clean color. when my car is detailed and the sun is out, the glare freaks people out :D

      My ratty old POS cleans up pretty well. I just dont take the time to do it very often . . .

        Yeah, I hear that it really doesn't show dirt and it's a nice classy color. So i may just go for it and do it.... Save myself about 2 grand on a paintjob. lol

          yeah, I didn't wash my car for like 2 months but people would still comment on how clean it was.. haha. just make sure you always keep a coat of wax on it, or it will go bad pretty quickly. it wasn't my first choice for colors but now I wouldn't want anything else!

            So i've decided to go sterling silver. How much paint is required to repaint the car? i have extra body panels and pieces as you can see in my sig.... I was thinking about a gallon of paint. What do you guys think?

            p.s. i think that the sterling silver paint code is 244. Can someone confirm this?

                personnaly I think lachs is a much better color than sterling. What color is your car now?

                  Plus youve actually seen my car in person. Love the color, I dont think Ill ever own a non-silver car. This is my third.

                          dont go lachs...its such an off color that if not done rite, looks like ass. my e30 was lachs, now sporting sterling grey metallic.
