    Alpine white paint clone?

Ya'll know of any paint that looks the same as Alpine white? I want to paint my valance to match my car and I don't feel like buying the BMW stuff. White is white right?

    no?

Go to a paint shop and get a rattle can in colour coded paint to the colour code on your chassis. Cost like 20bucks a can.

Never had an issue with my local auto parts store mixing up paint for me - just grab the code off the strut tower and they'll mix it up. Both touch up pens and rattle cans.

Depending on the E30 you are paining it could be alpine 1 or 2, and they're very different colors to my eyes. There's also clearcoat or just basecoat and how they age differently, in addition to how the paint has been maintained that impacts color perception.

Hi, I recently bought a brand new valance from BMW (by far cheapest price) and painted it myself with rattle cans from ScratchWizard. They will match Alpine White II (218 code) and IMO it is very close.

That doesn't look bad without the texture.
