I'm new to e30's so this might be a dumb question. But is there any way to make the rear windows go down like a cabrio?

I am going to pipe in here and just say it would be different, but not look that good. The B pillar is a structural support to the chassis. Removing it or making it move able would add flex to the chassis. As for appearance, what comes to mind the a 1965 Plymouth Fury III whose B pillar rolled down and it make the car just look that much better. The 1965 Plymouth Belvedere had a permanent B pillar and just was not as sleek. Food for thought.Comment

Get a 6, the rear windows go down an astounding 4 inches and then everyone ask you why they don’t go down all the way.-His-

Buy a convertible e30 + the factory hard top... would be cheaper than trying to retrofit a version of the vert windows to a coupe.
