My poor poor rust car. What to do?

wow no hope :( thanks for the input guys, i realy am falling in love with this m42 too.

take off the fenders, take care of the rust properly with POR15, hit all the other spots on the panels that arent removable. then sand down the whole car, spray the whole thing flat black, call it a beater, and beat the shit outa it.

Just do what you can to remove the rust, get those areas protected for winter, and then see how things are in the spring. It seems kinda irresponsible to just let it go to shit without even trying to save what you can.
