convert to e36 m3 bumpers and fenders

wondering how much work is needed to put e36 bumpers and fenders on a e30. seen it on craigslist, no pictures though.

i've seen people do the bumpers, but come on. why the fenders? i can't imagine them coming even close to fitting without massive amounts of custom work.

      Fenders, no.

Bumpers, yes [with a LOT of work].

Why can't you just buy the AV3 kit?? The fenders arent the same at all...

yeah sorry, i misread the ad on craigslist. e36 m3 bumpers and sides not the fenders. so doing the bumpers is at least possible then? what kind of work am i looking at? custom mounts? or relocating the stock ones?

E36 M3 bumpers looks no better on an E30's than E46 M3 bumpers look on E36's.

^That link proves my point. The E36 M3 bumper doesn't come close with going with the lines of an E30.

haha, it's not that easy man.

A LOT of custom work would need to be done to those bumpers to fit them.

there was just an AV3 kit fs on this site. And there are some e46 style e30 kits out there too. Look in eurotuner, they're oft advertised.

Does anyone have an A3V rear apron with diffuser? It looks pretty nice i think. I also like the twisty skirts, but the front bumper looks like shit.

If you have to ask, you can't do it. Anyone competent enough to do the body work required knows how much work would be involved in this. It's not going to just line right up if you make some neat custom mounts.
