Mounting Euro Plate Filler - DIY? Walkthrough?

I got it now how do I mount it?

So I see on euro cars it should have some type of mount up top with two holes that were already there. I don't see that on my vehicle :(

So how do I effectively mount this thing?

Links to pictures etc would be awesome!

Here is pic... See the mounting holes with a little rust from the car it was already on?

    Thanks!

the only thing i need to figure out before i mount mine is do i cut my rear plate or is it supposed to mount a different way.

For mine (diving board bumper) I just matched up the plate and marked where the lic. plate mounts and drilled holes there and used the screws and mounted the plate.

            Thanks to rwdrift

Take out the stock white plastic bolt thingy's, line up euro plate filler. From inside the trunk, get a marker and draw holes on the back of the plate filler through the holes for the little white tabs you removed.

            Drill filler.

Use nuts or some sort of rubber that'll hold the screws, tag and eventually the filler

You got yourself an euro plate filler now

I am going to do this and spray some undercoating on the isnide so no rust :)

I just drilled 4 7/8in holes in the filler where the white things are and slipped the filler in place and then put the plate back..

Another OCD man in the house. What'll bother you is the US plate will hang a little off the bottom of the actual filler.
                  Reminiscing...

                      doesn't really answer my question.

You will only use the top two mounting mounting holes and you will have to drill the plate filler. It will have an overhang.

On my car [and trailer] I drilled out all four holes in the filler and removed the stock white plastic things. The plate and filler are bolted top and bottom with stainless steel bolts and lock nuts. Probably a bit excessive. :)
