    Divingboard bumper cover material

I've searched and come up with nothing, It looks to be some kind of plastic, but what kind exactly?

I want to fill in some holes on mine and rather than buy another one from a parts yard and cut it up, I'd like to see if I have something laying around that I can plastic weld to it. Rather ask than experiment and end up ruining a perfectly good one ;)

So what exactly are they, and what will bond to them with a plastics (hot air) welder?

    Thanks!

The surround/shroud/cover around the chrome bumper, has side markers in it.

It is plastic & unless you are a genius at fab forget about repairing it properly.

You would be better off buying new ones. And for the cost of new ones, you can buy and retrofit a set of plastic bumpers and get rid of the diving boards altogether.

I see, thanks for the suggestions guys.

The problem is that all the new ones have side marker holes cut in them and that's what I'm trying to get rid of ;)

Get rid of diving boards? Psh...
