How to take off is spoiler?

I am getting ready to paint my spoiler and I was wondering how to take it off. Is there a DIY thread showing how to do this? thanks

okay not really. If you open your trunk and look up at the inside of the lid directly below the spoiler, the metal resembles swiss cheese. Inside of these holes you will find about half a dozen nylon bolts. They are either 10mm or 8mm. When they are all removed, the spoiler will lift off pretty easily. If its difficult at all, you may have missed one. Its also important to be very careful when removing them because its really easy to drop them down in to the abyss of the trunk lid.

Open your trunk, and look. There are six 10mm nuts that hold it to the rear deck. Just get a 10mm socket or a nut driver to take it off.
