I've thought about that myself, I think it would look sweet, very aggressive.

OK i've thought what if too but I wouldn't dare!!!! But what if somebody did it to a cabby??? Really , just alter the soft top and shorten the windshield. Somebody should do a photoshop and see what it looks like.

Just to start, you'll need custom glass, you'll need to essentially make new trim all around, either lengthen and re-angle the frona a-pilliar and door, or drastically re-design the C pilliars.

This is a very bad idea, because this car is a unibody. copping tops works fine for body-on-frame cars, where the body doesn't account for a large percentage of the car's structure. If you're absolutely sure of your welding abilities, it is possible, but custon glass isn't cheap, and the conversion will cost you dearly, especially if you don't do the welding yourself.

Chip Foose could do it haha. It might be cool to look at but geez that would be expensive as hell. Contact Foose, he probably will do it for 40g's

You dont need custom glass, there is an old hot rod tech. of channeling the glass down into the cowl, trunk, body panels to drop it up to 10" in some cases, I figure you could get about 4-6" outa an e30 by looking at my nekid firewall, but I wouldn't spend that much time doing it. much too much work.

I like the idea, would be awesome. That chop looks good on that car. Kit I'm not sure about but chop looks good, its subtle.
