Well recommended. heck they make doors and fenders and do lay-ups very nicely. But I don't think the like the idea of CF doors on public roads.

hahaha, sad thing is most of them look like that

i dont even know why any of you guys refer people to buy VIS hoods.

The quality sucks and yes, fitment is terrible.

Give it a good three months and you will find cracks and bubbles on the hood.

AlexMc's CDOC pieces are all custom one-off parts, as far as the bumpers, hood, and wing are concerned. I think this is true, anyway.

You could try contacting them, though.

i know but i though that the hood would be made as a regular piece... i might be mistaken

the VIS hood is not that bad as you guys make it seem. It's still a good hood for the price. There have certainly been worse hoods for more money. It does weigh a bit more than expected and has it's flaws but it's nothing that can't be remedied by properly aligning the hood. The front and rear is height adjustable and you can also adjust side to side. Even if you take the stock hood off and put it back on it will likely need adjusting as well.

I know nothing about CF hoods.. just thought I'd mention that CDOC is 1.8 miles from my house.
If anybody wants to make a road trip and needs info on the area and/or a place to stay, lemme know. :-)

BTW.. the people at CDOC are awesome.

                            What is CDOCs website?

I'm looking to get a CF hood when I repaint my car (and have it painted to match.)

you would be better off getting a fiberglass hood... less expensive and just as light....

a lot of the cost of the CF is just getting the weave to look good... whick you obviously dont care about if you are painting it

Fibreglass is fine too as long as it mounts to factory hardware.
