just taking it off the car? if so, there are 4 13mm nuts. 3 under the car, one in the trunk. to take the impact abosrber off the bumper, i forget the size, but just get the set of 10-12 torx bits.

is that on a plastic bumpered e30 (88-91)? i thought there were only two i can access. i didn't see any in the trunk? i also didn't know there were absorbers. i don't want to have to shell out for the set as its 24.99 at autozone. if i could get away with getting only one or two that would be better:p

The forth nut is next to the battery.
what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

I took off my early rear bumper and replaced it with a late model bumper.

1: for the early model the 4, 13mm nuts are where they previosly explained to you and in order to get the bumper shocks for the rear out there is the infamous 1/2" nut, that is above the muffler, which you will have to move a bit in order to get to it by way of loosening the metal straps that hold it firmly.

2: for the later models is much easier, dump out the hex bolt idea (my opinion) take out the 4, 13mm nuts than jiggle the rear bumper and it should easily come out., hope that helps you, bro!!!!

u only have to remove the 4 bolts if u want to take the shocks out with it. the 2 orx bolts r t-55 i think. but take them out then pull the bumper off.
