eh... pictures dont mean much as products like carbon fiber is concern, it definitely has to be seen in person.
I was thinking about getting carbon fiber hood too, but after seeing it on couple cars... its very stupid looking, like you are trying too hard to be cool, unless you are really building a race/ track car.Comment

I only like it on black cars. It would be cool to see a carbon kevlar weave. Maybe put a red weave into it for your car.
In my case I am going to get one. However, I need a hood due to hail damage. If my hood was fine, I would not probably get one.'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

get one and paint it ;)
I wouldn't touch a VIS hood with a 10-ft pole. the fitment is awful, I always laugh when I see one.. plus they're pretty damn heavy for a CF hood.Comment

Get it and spray it with clear coat tinted slightly body color. From a distance it look body color, but up close you can see the weave.Comment

i already opened a bank account instead of getting a hood, and bought hood and trunk seals, sideskirts, and soon a splitter. and then im done for a while until i find something that i want or need, you never know when your car will brake down. do you think zip ties and 3m double sided tape will hold side skirts?

Compitition Concepts FTMFW!!!!

That right there is how to make a CF hood. Keith is da man. It even gets the "Farbin Kaiber CF Seal of Approval" And its only +/-$350.00 from other "USA makers" units. I'll be paying the difference for a full CF unit. None of that fiberglass framework bullsh*t.

My CF opinions have gotten me into some tight spots. I don't want any PM's from bitching MAShaw employees or owners like I got over at s14.net from another undisclosed component manufacturer.Comment

I know about the core. What about over all fitment and fit and finish, and weight/strength? I am pretty familiar with MA products but I have never seen CC stuff in person. I promise I wont call the CF gustapo on you.e30sport.net
